Ray Jackman has lived in California for near half his life. When Ray's mother decides to move them to L.A., where it's all a concrete jungle compared to their nice apartment in the hills of Napa valley , Ray feels like he's lost a lot of what little he had to begin with. Ray starts school in September and is lucky, or maybe unlucky, to bump into a boy named Steven in the cafeteria on the first day. Both boys start to bring up memories from the past that could cause them to become enemies or partners in crime, we'll just have to see. When they start to have feelings for eachother one will close up while the other will attempt to kindle the flame. The boys both go through their own versions of hell on earth while attempting to go about their live in school, work, and home.
