A blank doll with acting and action running in her veins, Freia woke up in a hospital with no memory of what brought her there. Sure, the doctors said a car crash delivered her there, but it didn't feel like it. They said her family's dead but how come Freia didn't feel like that was true? Her very first visitors were her adoptive parents, Fabio and Darlene Hunter. She had four friends that stuck with her ever since she could remember, literally. I gotta say, why would you believe something that was written and altered by humans from outside? Would you even put your trust on the person who doesn't let you out unless he wants you to? Fighting grudges, fear, and distrust, the Chosen humans must travel to the one place on Earth where they might be safe. And with strange new powers, the teenagers struggle to live in the unfamiliar world they thought they knew so well.

Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued
Wrong dose
When twins Skylar and Jake were born, their scientist parents used them as an experiment. Each was injected with a dose of serum that would supposedly make them much stronger, smarter, simply better than other kids. But somebody added a chemical that changed the effects of the serum. As a result each twin got only half of the traits they were originally supposed to get. Skylar got the strength and speed while Jake got the brains. When they realized what had happened, the twins' parents immediately put them up for adoption, so neither one knew of the other. 12 years later Skylar is constantly failing all her classes, and Jake is getting bullied because he is so much weaker than other kids. But then Skylar's adoptive family decides to move across the country to find a new school for their daughter, which happens to be the school Jake goes to. They meet completely by accident. In the meantime, their parents have found a way to fix their mistake from 12 years ago -- they can make one of the twins perfect. But it requires for the other twin to give their life.

Along with the alien, a beacon was left on Earth which when activated, opens a portal through which the aliens will return. The extraterrestrials visit Earth to usurp Qi, Earth's vital energy. If the extraterrestrials go too long without Qi, people on the alien planet will die. However, when Qi is extracted from Earth, the weak and elderly of Earth will die. The beacon can only be activated by the alien who was left here and only when the planets are in a particular alignment. The next time is only two months away during the Autumnal Equinox. When Zoe discovers who the alien is, it's a complete game changer because the alien is closer to her than she ever could have imagined. The story takes place in a small town surrounded by forest near the Oregon-California border. Of course it does, after all, the highest concentration of Qi is found in forests where ancient redwoods grow. You might be wondering, what is Qi? In Japan it is called "ki," and in India, "prana"." The ancient Egyptians referred to it as "ka," and the ancient Greeks as "pneuma." In Africa, it's known as "ashe" and in Hawaii as "mana." Qi, Prana, Ki, call it what you will, this energy is the life force itself.
