Verbally abused by his mother for years, 18 year old Niall Horan always believed he would never be loved or wanted by anyone. He focused all of his attention on his grades and getting into the University of Texas to start a new life away from his mother. The last thing Niall expected was to fall in love with Liam Payne, a starting linebacker for the University of Texas football team and not to mention, his brother's best friend.
Liam only had two passions in life, football and his grandfather's ranch, until he falls for his best friends little brother. He will stop at nothing to show Niall how much he wants him, even if it means he has to move faster than he would like. Liam knows they are meant to be together forever, but Niall keeps denying his feelings out of fear of being hurt again. Every time Liam gets close to winning Niall's love, something pushes Niall away again.
Will Niall ever be able to let go of the past and let Liam into his heart and will Liam be patient enough to wait for him? What will it take for them to realize they are all each other have ever WANTED?
