By the Kidnapped Roleplay Crew In New York City, crime is more common than most would like to admit. For years, a certain small group of kidnappers have been abducting children and keeping them locked inside a house. The house looks unassuming from the outside, but the inside tells a different story; the walls are thick, so no sound may escape. Every window is barred from the inside and there's no visibility to see the inside from the outside. Rumors have spread since then about the house, but none can be confirmed. The only man who lives there appears to be a middle-aged man with a bit of a gambling problem. Little do the people know, within those walls, there are 17 children who are desperate, malnourished, and scared. They are willing to escape even if it means at the cost of their lives. And not all lives may be spared.

Runaway

Everyone runs away from home at least once in their lives, whether it be a silly reason to rebel or to get away from a toxic situation. Either way, the outcome is different for everyone. Sometimes you end up back home, or a safer place. Peyton Nicole Smith lived 19 years believing she led a normal, successful, happy life. Even with all the conservative, restrictive rules she had been required to live by and abide to. It had only been the way she was raised. Peyton was so used to this lifestyle, she thought nothing of it which meant nothing was off or odd in her eyes. However, as she grew up and matured, her eyes opened and became more aware. This meant she would start to notice..... "things". Soon, life had seemed odd all of the sudden. So much so, she eventually learns the truth and escapes realizing she isn't completely safe. **TW/// Mentions of Drug use, suicide, and abuse**
