It is 1730, the end of the golden age of piracy, and a little girl is found by Captain Edward Kenway. She is trained and raised as an Assassin.
For many years she completes assassinations and missions under the alias as Matrix, Kenway's son. That is until her cover is blown by a common enemy, The Templars.
