School Holidays are close to ending, somehow it doesn't feel like it. I lay on bed as I equip my bag with all my new books and pencil case making sure all are labeled 'Bella Sawn'. I'm still trying to get my head around the fact I will be year 10 this year. First Year of High School... Goodbye naplan and hello exams that cause more stress than moving to a foreign country. Why do our grades now matter so much more now than when they did in primary school.

I wake to the the usual rude awakening of sunlight shining on my face forcing me to get out of bed just to shut the blinds. I make my way to the kitchen to make myself a coffee one teaspoon grounded coffee beans and two teaspoons of sugar and the wait, where's the milk urghhh I can't believe I forgot to put milk on the shopping list. Great.

I pack my lunch and head out the door I walk one block to the bus stop where several of people are also waiting. I grab out my phone to check snap chat, nothing. I open the camera and scroll through the different filters trying to choose something other than my norm for a change so I decide to go with the second one. Then the bus pulls up and we all pile on the brand new looking bus I sit down and write on the photo 'and the school year begins.'
