In a split world filled with war, speciesism, and unanswered questions, one neko will risk her life to put an end to the fighting and get some truth. - Side note: I was going to say racism, but then I realized that neko isnt really a race and is more of a species so I went to google and found speciesism. Thank you google.

After her grandma's death, Sarah's biggest problem should have been passing biology class. However, when she becomes witness to a petty theft, she quickly realizes there are bigger issues at hand than what the mitochondria is for. She soon finds out that the thief, Michael, a moody but admittedly handsome classmate, is her new biology tutor. To make matters worse, she ends up discovering his big secret: he is only half human. Sarah is thrust into a magical world full of spirits - a world she has a strong connection to, and with Michael's help, she learns to navigate it. He is no hero though, so why is he so set on defeating the powerful Huntress who's been stealing spirits' powers? What does Sarah's late grandmother's book have to do with anything? Will Sarah be able to help Michael find what he's looking for? Will these questions be solved faster than it takes the hunters to kill them? (TW: language, violence, mental health issues)
