HEY GUYS!! I decided to write a fanfic about The Red Band Society. It's a new tv show and lets just say it was pretty amazing. I cried in the first episode, but it wasn't a sad or depressing cry, it was a happy cry. Which doesn't happen to often to me. Any way, this is going to be about a new girl who is moving into the hospital. Her name is Rowan. An 16 year old Junior in High School. What life threatning medical illness does she have that would cause her to move into the hospital you might ask? Well she has a condition that causes her to always inflict pain on herself. So how does she handle living in a hospital while her foster family abandoned her just as she was born? Read to find out. I don't own anything and this is not real so don't freak out. A girl who has been called chubby her whole life. By everyone. She wants to be a model; thinking it might make her pretty and people would stop calling her names and laughing at her for thinking she had a career in modeling. So she applies to a modeling school. The best in town. Her dream is to be a model. Yet, she is brutally rejected when she applies which completely shatters her heart. Her parents never supported her. So after she's rejected, instead of consoling her; they criticize her even more. She never really had friends to begin with; and now that the news of being rejected from the modeling school spread, no one would even look at her in a friendly way. She was mocked. She was bullied. The words kept changing. From chubby to fat. From stupid to worthless With the excessive amount of bullying, she fell into depression. Hard. She stopped eating. Maybe it'll make the horrible words go away?

His other siblings- might he add were ALWAYS given attention- had found their home. Some of his siblings stayed with his mother. And the rest stayed with his father. Both permanent. And Leo? He appreciates the concern. He went from place to place. He just couldn't find his home. What did he do to cope? He smiled. Instead of moping and sulking and doing what everyone else would have done, Leo Caldas smiled through it. It was all he knew how to do. "Pain is the best teacher". Jade Skai hated that quote with all her heart. Partly, because it was true. Pain was the best teacher. Fear coming in halfway. What was worse? When pain decided to side with fear and work together. She had felt both. Multiple times. And the feeling sucked. Jade was not your normal happy sunshiny girl. No. She was cold, having a snappy tongue and a heartless nature. That was her father's fault. Her mother had died when Jade was born. And it tore her father apart. He now sat at home. Drinking alcohol anytime she saw him. To add to the trauma, her father also beat her. Almost every night. For years since she turned ten. She was a very troubled girl. It wasn't her fault.

My life used to be pretty boring. Everything was average. Normal family, normal looks, normal house, normal job, normal life. The only non-boring aspect of my life was my best friend which was only because she always managed to mess it up somehow. I didn't really mind much because it kept things interesting. That is until she disappeared leaving me to care for her fatherless child with nothing more than a few hundred pounds and a sorry note. She did ruin my old life. She ruined everything that I'd actually cared for. My parents hated the fact that I was 'throwing my life away' for a child that wasn't mine. Not to mention illegally. I dyed my hair blue in rebellion. My own way of saying "F*CK YOU!" ...They kicked me out shortly after. I couldn't find a decent job in the area and the rumors became so vicious that I just left and never looked back. Old life: Destroyed, unraveled, completely gone. She rushes to California to see her son for the first time in five years. The only problem is Emma is there, oh and the man she hocked up with at the bar, the one with the lion tattoo? Yeah, he's there too, and so is his ex. It does contain direct quotes as well as scenarios that happened in the Red Band Society. Some names have been changed for example Emma is now Addie and Kara is Grace Hatter and Dr. McAndrew is Robin Locksley. This is an OQ pairing story.
