Chris is a good father, and Riley is a happy little girl for the most part. She's still internally hurt from a lot of the pain that Carlie caused, but she trusts Chris to protect her. And Chris DOES protect her. He's very good at protecting her... Until her fourth birthday. Chris walked out of the room for one minute; and when he came back, Riley was gone. After almost eleven years missing, Riley finds a way to return to Pennsylvania after having been tortured day in and day out by the person that kidnapped her. She returns to Chris, bloody and bruised; and all she wants from him is help. Now, Riley and Chris have to adjust to the fact that Riley is back and has endured a lot of pain during her time in captivity. Riley now has to get to know her dad all over again, his girlfriend and his band. She also has to get to know herself and conquer many internal struggles along the way. Will Riley Cerulli be able to rise above all of the challenges she's about to face? Or will she collapse under the weight of the past?
