Clary Fairchild lives in the New York City institute with her mother and the Lightwoods. Her life in New York was perfect; she has a wonderful family along with a boyfriend, and she was able to fit demon hunting into that mix. But whenever she and the Lightwoods are called to Idris to help investigate a demonic disturbance, Clary's life isn't so perfect anymore. The worst part of the case is that smart-ass Jace Herondale is practically Clary's partner for the investigation. Clary and Jace are like polar opposites so putting them together was the worst possible decision... or at least Clary thought. Will Clary and Jace get passed their differences and be able to uncover what is really happening?
