Clary Fairchild lives in the New York City institute with her mother and the Lightwoods. Her life in New York was perfect; she has a wonderful family along with a boyfriend, and she was able to fit demon hunting into that mix. But whenever she and the Lightwoods are called to Idris to help investigate a demonic disturbance, Clary's life isn't so perfect anymore. The worst part of the case is that smart-ass Jace Herondale is practically Clary's partner for the investigation. Clary and Jace are like polar opposites so putting them together was the worst possible decision... or at least Clary thought. Will Clary and Jace get passed their differences and be able to uncover what is really happening?

Clary finally graduated high school and has a great start in her acting career. Clary's best friend, AKA a Victoria secret model, Izzy, is always there for her. Clary was supposed to play Jace's love interest, but Clary, being the fiery and stubborn person, she declined. She rather play Jace's sister. What happens when an evil warlock decides that he is sick of all of the shadowhunters rules and laws? How long will she last with a new boyfriend and an evil warlock determined to take over the New York institute and not let anyone live to tell the tale. All characters belong to Cassandra Clare except I might make up few later on I'm not sure yet..... so if you see an odd name just assume I made them up. A character belongs to Gena Showalter also. Some people would call it love at first sight whereas he believes it's their fate to be together and he won't let anything come between them, not even Clary's mother's murderer. The Angel Raziel punished Clary for creating another rune after she was forbidden to do so. In order to kill her brother, Jonathan, and save the world from his wrath, she had to create a rune. The punishment was that she would lose all her memories of the Shadow World, of her family and friends, but most of all, of her Jace. When she said goodbye to her brother in Toronto and laid him to rest, her first rune disappears, her angelic rune. She does not tell anyone because it is Alec's wedding and she does not want to ruin it. At the reception, Jace takes Clary to the dance floor and starts with a speech that sounds like he is ready to propose to Clary, so she interrupts him by telling him how much she loves him, and after she passionately kisses him, says she needs to get air and leaves him standing on the dance floor. Jace stands there looking at her, feeling that something is off with Clary, and says "I love you too." after her. He decides to look in their room for her and finds a letter telling him of the punishment that the angels gave her, and that she would no longer have her memories of him, but that she would always love him. He falls to the floor and screams out because he has lost her again. He vows that he will love her from afar and will always protect her. What happens when and If Clary regains her memories? What happens when Jace makes a discovery that will forever change Jace and Clary's lives? Jace will have the biggest decision of his life to make. What will he decide?
