I have just started writing and I am sure as my story develops I will choose a title and provide a better description. As it were, this is an excerpt from a story I hope will turn into a book. This story starts in the Renaissance era as Elaine Romtree and her son return to her hometown of Farlith where the reigning Duchess rules the land and her husband with a sorceress's hand. Little does she know that with the return of her husband's childhood sweetheart comes a threat that could overthrow her claim to power.
