After the huge move from Japan to Russia, Yuri had been having some homesickness. Instead of telling Viktor like he should have he waited until it grew into anxiety. Even then he didn't say anything for fear of damaging their relationship. Until it becomes too much and when home alone Yuri breaks apart.
