"It's not that I didn't want to be loved. It's just that I thought I never would be" Jeremy is new to Chicago and is an eighteen year old who was adopted at fifteen. He deferred college for a year just to get his head straight. That's until he runs into an Italian painter who seems to be fascinated with Jeremy. Jeremy doesn't know how to act when this painter takes an interest in him. He can only hope that the universe pushes that painter out of his path. Then what happens if the universe disagrees with Jeremy's wishes? Angelo De Rosa is a nineteen year old painter who doesn't feel like he will ever be as perfect as his perfect brother. He may be able to start a swift conversation or charm his way through school but a low confidence does take a toll. After a recent break up he runs into Jeremy, and for some reason can't shake him out of his mind. Angelo knows he shouldn't get involved yet he can't get rid of a feeling that Jeremy makes him feel. He knows it will end in heartbreak, and it will most likely be Jeremy's heart that breaks. What if they try to hard? What if they don't try at all?
