I AM ALIVE

I have yet to find Julie and Mary, my wife and daughter. It's been a year since The Event... The US is torn to shreds due to all of the earthquakes. Buildings brought down, supplies hard to find, and not many people to see in my city of Haventon. Even the government is useless. But worst of all, the dust clouds near ground. They go as high as a 4 or 5 story building. Whoever stays down there won't be able to breathe for long. Their lungs will fill up with dust, making it hard to breathe. You can barely see even. Only way to live is to stay on high ground or underground, like in sewers or subway stations. The dust hasn't left... and I don't think it will. But there is one good thing of all. I am alive.

This story was based off of a game I really enjoyed. It may not be good, but it is my first book. I recommend you guys check the game out: I AM ALIVE. This game was based off a post-apocalyptic world where the protagonist goes to his hometown of Haventon to find his wife and daughter, Julie and Mary. I hope this is at least a bit enjoyable. By the way, my story will not follow the game, I am making it up as I go along.
