Zodiac walked silently through the forest. She heard something..
She froze in her tracks, looking around for the enemy. She drew her sword, and scanned the forest.
Nothing.
But, she'd forgotten to check behind her.
She heard a voice behind her, "rookie mistake" she quickly turned towards the voice. The other horse smirked, as she made out that it had a sword as well.
The voice laughed.
"I was expecting more of a.." The voice began.
"More of a what?" Zodiac said
"A challenge!" Said the voice as it emerged from the shadows and cut zodiac with its sharp sword.
Just as that happened, zodiac noticed a shape in the shape of an 'X' on the voice's shoulder.
"The lost" zodiac said under her breath, petrified.
Zodiac ran. She ran until she was long away from the forest. She knew she would never win a battle against a member of the lost.
Never.
