This Girl
I turn around and look into his blue eyes, searching them. When I'm certain that he's not lying, butterflies erupt in my stomach and I gulp audibly. His fingers move from playing with the tips of my hair to my cheeks. I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him closer. His other hand moves from my waist to my jawline and he trails his thumb along my bottom lip. He pulls my face closer until I can smell his minty breath. His eyes close and so do mine. My head tilts to the side slowly and I feel his lips on mine. *** Natalie Bennett: a sassy 17-year-old, who, after leaving her home in Paris, starts at Lakewater high in America. Natalie is humble, sarcastic and smart, funny and forgiving. She complains when she has to wear dresses, heels and make-up and she can't stand annoying fake girls. Alex Collins: cocky, egocentric, and a magnet to the female race, that is, all girls except Natalie, who can't stand him. Alex is a player, a model, and a singer. His family is rich. He's the definition of a bad boy, but behind those ray bans hides an intelligent soft side. But when they unexpectedly bump into each other both Natalie and Alex begin to realize there might be more layers to the other than they expected. His Sweet Lies
Her brows furrowed. "You look like you have something specific you wanna ask me." The tips of Liam's ears turned red at Emma's very accurate observation. "I, uh... I usually just bullshit my way through projects, so I have no idea what the hell I'm doing." The corners of Emma's lips formed a small smile. Liam arched his brow. "What are you smiling at?" Her smile widened. "Nothing." Ever since Emma started going to Silver Creek High, she's been bullied over her discolored eyes. It all started when a boy brought attention to her in biology class one day, laughing at her and calling her a "freak" while the rest of the class laughed along with him. She never looked at him or saw his face; she just ran out of the room crying. She was now an outcast labeled as a freak and she wanted nothing more than to just disappear. She felt she had no purpose in life. Until her sophomore year when she fell in love with Liam, the guy every girl wanted; the guy every dude wanted to be. He had stolen her heart and she now wanted nothing more than to be with him. Unfortunately, Liam seemed to want nothing to do with Emma. He seemed to be straight up avoiding her. They never interacted for 3 whole years. That is, until now in their senior year, when they get paired up for a school project. The two must put their differences aside and try to work as a team. But as they spend more time together, feelings grow deeper, and secrets start to rise to the surface. Warning: Contains mature language, sex, and topics of bullying, sexual assault/harassment, self-harm, and suicideConcluida
The Knights Pearls
*Book title has been updated, previously known as Ace* Imagine seeing someone unable to buy food because they didn't have the money. Then randomly a stranger decided to pay for something as simple as breakfast.... "That will be $3 dollars " the lady in front of the cash said, the boy began to frantically look for his wallet. "Here you go" I smiled passing her the 20 dollars. "Also, can I get a yogurt the fruit cup and a bottle of orange juice please" the boy stood in shock as the lady passed me everything. "Here" I say as he stares at me still in shock "thank you... I'm sorry l-" "Don't worry about it" I then fist bumped him and walked away. _____ Little did Annalise know that within 12 years that boy would grow into a dashing, charming and may I add extremely handsome man. Read OUR CHEMISTRY to discover the cute incidents of an ordinary teenage couple! *** "Do you like sleeping?" He said. I nodded. "Me too! We should do it together sometime." He smirked, challenging me to say a better pickup line. When I didn't say anything he laughed. "Are you a scientist? Cause I would do you on a table, periodically." He whispered in my ear, his deep voice vibrating in my mind. I blushed. I shook my head and looked at him. Rolling my eyes ever so slightly and smiling seductively while flicking his nose, I said, "Gosh, You have such a dirty mind." I am so unbelievably fucked. ----- 17 year old Ace Loughty was never one longing to be in the spotlight. In fact, he craved the exact opposite: being left alone. When Ace was 13, the tragic death of his younger sister Eleanor caused him to rapidly gain popularity and pitiful looks. He hated the attention. All of a sudden everyone wanted to be friends with the dead girls brother, they'd promise Ace he would never be alone that they would always be there for him, which he of course knew was untrue, they're all just hungry for attention. Sometime later the school moved onto other drama and gossip, things started to die down and people finally left Ace alone. He moved on with his life, convincing himself he was over Eleanor's death and as quick as the whole thing started, he returned to being lonely, weird, quiet nobody Ace. Just how he liked it. That is until 4 years later when he found himself sprawled out on a bed. With Charlie Simmons hovering over him. Charlie Simmons who was kissing Ace like he would die if he ever dared to stop.
