Science Fiction
In a future far from the fantasy we would all hope for, mans' invincibility will be put to the test. After a solar flare hits and wipes out half of the earth's population, the survivors have no choice than to wait for their slow but inevitable extinction. Having been raised through a wealthy family, Harvey, at the age of 21 is fortunate to experience the last days of mankind. Though seconds after the broadcast of the world's final hours, Harvey and the rest of humanity are mysteriously abducted from earth. --Man again awakens, though not in their beds at home but years later spread across a wild field of grass. Their earth that was once in a solar peril has somehow been salvaged and mysteriously replenished like new. Waking up with his girlfriend and sister by his side, Harvey journeys his way to the Mayan pyramids that are rumored to still be standing and birthing society. Hoping to reach loved ones in an already established city, they navigate through the forested jungles to realize this is not the earth they once knew and loved. Rebellious groups take upon themselves to rewrite the rules of the world as the gathering of man does not always fall on stable minds. With the help of friends and discovered life forms along the way, Harvey begins to understand why exactly their planet was salvaged. Making sense of the insensible, their adventures show evidence of not only the altered biology of earth, but also that of mankind... Bearth is 92,440 words of pure imagination and has been entertainingly my first novel ever attempted. I am just curious to see if my story can be as much fun to read as it was to write :) I sincerely thank each of you for your time, Rigo Miller-:

[COMPLETED: Book two in the works] **Disclaimer: This book was written on impulse, out of the creativity of my rotting mind. Take that as you will. Will have darker themes as its setting is based in a dystopian/apocalyptic society. Readers please be at least 16+.** "Finally, I could get a look at his face as his eyes scanned over the landscape and it wasn't long before his eyes met mine. Ba-dump. I felt my heart thump in my chest. I stared openly at him. My eyes wide and full of curiosity and anticipation. He was everything that I had been searching for. I lifted my hands when I saw his grip tighten on his knife and showed that I was not going to attack him and meant no harm. But his green eyes only narrowed with skepticism and suspicion. He looked like he was ready to kill me, while it was all over for me, I was beginning to believe in the corny idea of love at first sight. I was already set on capturing his heart and becoming his partner. He was perfect." - Mila, a lone survivor, obsesses over the idea of finding love and fulfilling her childhood dream to get married before the world ends. Finally she meets the guy of her dreams, another survivor named Everett. But as they reluctantly band together they find surviving against the human rabies virus to be the least of their worries. Instead, they must face a Facility that poses as a utopia for survivors and uncover its darker secrets. Will their lives end before she can accomplish her dream to fall in love?
