Erin is a beautiful sixteen-year-old girl, who gets on with everybody. She is often labelled as the school’s ‘social butterfly’. However, is there more to Erin that meets the eye? Her desire to be a part of the school’s hierarchy is close to non-existent. She is tired of dissembling her true feelings and herself. But how will she breakout, on her own?
Lewis Connelly is the new kid in town. Lewis is Erin’s polar opposite. He is the 'silent-boy', that no one wants to be friends with. Lewis doesn't associate with anyone, in or out of school. Since his arrival, he has been the subject of school rumours and discussions. Lewis’ well publicised troubled past and his refusal to be put into a clique, only fuels the rumours at the rumour mill. He doesn’t acknowledge the hierarchy; this automatically appoints him the social pariah of the school.
Erin Rickman is intrigued by Lewis Connelly. She wants to know more about him, the person who speaks to nobody, but has the whole school talking about him. What's behind the walls Lewis has built? Will Erin find out? Can the school’s ‘social butterfly’, Erin Rickman, and the mysterious Lewis Connelly go against the status quo? Or are they forever labelled by society? How can two opposites come together? Or is there common ground?
