Isang gabi ay may malakas na bagyo, bumaha, at may nahulog daw na babaeng bangkay doon. Marami nang natakot na tao sa wishing well dahil minalas na daw sila at nang dahil daw ito sa tinatawag nilang Sadako o ung nahulog na bangkay na babae. Sabi nila napakataas daw ng buhok ng babae, pero wala pa namang nakakita sa kanya kahit isa. Ginawang imahinasyon lang nila para wala nang pumunta pa na tao sa wishing well. At ngaun ito ay binalutan na ng maiitim na dumi at dahon. May hiniling ang isang binata sa wishing well at nagkakatutuo ito.
