Phillip and Alice, two best friends and lovers, are introduced to a show in the cities of London, filled with hallucinations. The show is being presented by a lad named Jayson who is magnificently dark with his tricks, and gruesome. Shocking people believing that his performances were real. But...should they think again about that? Are they really fake? Or are they real?
Phillip meets Jayson's niece who is a fourteen year old who looks like a goth. The star of the show. She gives him slight hints that something is up with her uncle, something that isn't good. Phillip then goes on an investigation, and finds out the worst thing ever about Jayson. And, on top of that, Jayson grows fond of Alice and tries to steal her away from Phillip! What shall he do about this? And what shall he do about Jayson's deepest, dreadful secrets?

The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted.
