Kaden

Once upon a time, five friends set about changing the world. Unfortunately they caught the attention of those who'd rather see them fall. After one fell, the closest to him was blamed and never given a chance to prove his innocence, Thus, when their enemy returned, his friends looked away and let him fall too. Kaden grew up despising the so called king who looked the other way while his father sacrificed himself to save their pack. His mother died with him, unable to live without her mate. Orphaned, Kaden took over the pack long before he was ready. But he prospered, and sheltered them from those who yearned to see them fall. Now an adult, Kaden seeks to extract his revenge against the person who allowed the murder of his father. The king despises him, but adores his youngest daughter. His engaged daughter. Their people view her as a princess due to the gentle care she shows them. The night before her wedding, Kaden steals her away to torment her so her father suffers. The only problem is, she's his mate. This story is a standalone with a happy-ever-after ending, promise. (Which is weird coming from me)
