"You traveled across the world to see a man who doesn't even know your first name?" "I guess I did. And I would do it again for Victor Frankenstein." --//-- Validation comes from those we worship Into the abyss of human remains Carry pride with doubt and love Take away the pain of living to become dead Out with wretched humanity Reap the poetic mind of a stranger Friendliness will not find comfort here Rest the eyes of playing God with the poison Arrange the scalpel over the heart of the lover Need him like he needs a needle and a body to touch Keep hands cold and lifeless, foolish girl Everything was too perfect to be tangible Now the tears mark each other's cheeks See the grotesque monstrosity on the slab Tuck away all sensibility for your poet Eat the flesh of an adventure so wrong I sense you're sick, my dearest love Need a Note to see the Doctor? --//-- Dolores Talbot, a doctor working in Chicago, travels to London to meet her pen pal, Doctor Victor Frankenstein. London is nothing like she's ever experienced before, the darkness crawling all over her skin in the most wonderful way. But when truths are revealed about the world around her and the doctor she fell in love with in writing, her perspective on the life she thought she knew so well is turned upside down. What will become of her poetic doctor? Of herself? --//-- I do not own any of the Penny Dreadful franchise. I own Dolores Talbot as she is my own original character.

Four years after his brother's icy death, Ernest Frankenstein finds himself the lone survivor of his family and a refugee after revolutionaries force him to flee Geneva. Left with only Victor's cursed legacy, an unexpected run-in with Joseph Curwen, one of Victor's university friends, seems a Godsend to Ernest-especially when the necromancer claims he too has the ability to raise the dead with his own methods of salt and sorcery. Will Ernest's want for companionship trump his better judgement of meddling with Lovecraftian forces beyond man's understanding? And does Curwen have ulterior motives for wanting to bring Victor back?
