I cast my eyes down, and it all stopped before my eyes. Eyes full of misery met my own, and my body felt overwhelmed with whirling emotions that I hardly caught my stumbling self.
There she was, in all her glory, and there she was dying before my eyes while I turned to putty at her very presence; at the presence of my mate.
