Andréa's destiny was not resigned to being married off to noble as a concubine or being a simple apprentice of a blacksmith. She believes it to be becoming a musketeer. For years as a small child she had heard of stories from her grandfather who had seen the noble heroes, the Musketeers, in battle. Although as she grew older and her grandfather died, the people of village began to see her as nothing more than a hopeless, idiotic, dreaming girl with ludicrous thoughts of grandeur. But when the unexpected happens Andréa it forced to leave behind her village in hope of finding a new beginning, not plagued by painful sorrow-filled memories.
