This was a short story I wrote for a fiction contest that wound up being an origin story to one of the main characters in my alien YA series.

This is just a short unfinished story I made years ago so- don't mind the spelling errors :) A world where the Earth has been abandoned by humans after the events of World War |||. The remaining humans on the Earth believe it has something to do with the sun but are wrong. There is only a certain amount of time left before all the oxygen in the Earth is gone. They must escape the face of the Earth, but will they be able to? Ngl tho, I have no idea what this story is exactly about cause this was made when I was like 10 so please keep that in mind. A massive alien ship and a human in a small pod, in cryogenic sleep, thousands of light-years away from earth. After being convicted of a murder she didnt commit alita is left stranded on the hostile world filled with carnivorous plants, ruthless criminals, hostile natives, and bloodthirsty monsters. She comes to realize the world isnt as unforgiving and cold as it seems. She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive. The only issue being is the last thing he wants is a pathetic, weak human girl following him around. (Limited time only read!)
