Elizabeth Rose is married and mated to Alpha Sam Daniels from the Blue Moon Pack. She thought she would have a great life with her mate, but she was wrong. Sam becomes violent with her after their marriage. For two years, he has abused her and beaten her until she nearly dies. Rose has took enough of it. She decides to fake her death and then move somewhere else to where no one from the Blue Moon Pack can ever see her. After she fakes her death, Sam feels a pain he has never felt before. He then realizes the cause of his pain is the breaking of the bond between him and Rose. Sam is devastated and finally realizes all the wrong  he has done to Rose. After searching for Rose, he is convinced she is dead. After three years of being without his mate, Sam takes his pack on a trip to Europe, but what he doesn't expect to see is someone who he thought was dead.
