Destined To Meet
Clay had been closeted all his life and planned for it to remain that way. But, with having homophobic parents it was seemingly impossible to ever find the happiness he longed for. After being outed to the only people he now disliked the most, his parents react worse than expected and Clay falls into a pit of loneliness when he gets sent to conversion therapy to "turn him straight again". In this case, letting him be a little kid again, letting him feel safe while being himself. (This story has been entered into the Watty awards :D) After not being approved to move to the states, George takes a small two week vacation in the summer to visit his friends. His friends drag him to a party where a reckless decision was made. Two years later George is alone in his apartment with nothing but the sound of the heater and his sleeping two year old on his chest. He hasn't spoken to his friends since he left the states all those years ago, terrified of what they might say. What they might think.
