I ran across the street as I ran for my life with Lavender in my hands. Footprints were right behind me. My heart ached as I struggled for the next breath. I knew that if I was grabbed now, three weeks of preparation would have gone to waste. My captor kept close behind me, but I refused to be taken for another day. For all I cared, he could just shoot me. I'd much rather find out what happens to me after I die than after I wake back up after being beat up. I heard him pant, "it's too late, Ender!" I felt a hand grab my cloak and lift me in the air. I dropped Lavender so she could fly away, but she only layed there in fear. I knew she wasn't going to let me get captured that easily. I screamed, "LET ME GO!" I kicked into the air, struggling to become free. "Sh... you'll attract unwanted customers." I screamed again, kicking some more. He grunted, "you lit-!" He let me go and I fell to the ground. I gasped for air. I let out a whisper, "thank you..." I looked over my shoulder and saw that what saved me wasn't a man, but a monster. I gasped at the sight as the monster cracked a smile. I whispered, "H-Herobrine?" He turned to face me completely. He squinted his eyes, "since when did you hear about me?" I shivered from the cold wind as I got to my feet, "rumors." He stared at me, then laughed, "oh, yeah. They did shout pretty loudly. But let's not talk too much here. We need to go, now!" ------------------ Ender was captured at a young age, too early for her to even remember where she originally came from. She never saw the life she was meant to have. Her entire life was exposed to everyone who steps in to see the rarest creatures in the world, including herself. But when she was rescued by Herobrine, she was introduced to more like herself. Can she get along with them, even with her abused life behind bars? And can she save others like herself from the cages, or will she regret everything that she has done, including running away from her living nightmare?
