He was the one boy everyone avoided. He never had a partner for class projects, never had a conversation with a classmate or even his teachers, never spoke a word to anyone since he had crossed the county line in his family's moving van two years prior.
"He's so weird," the girls would say in a whisper as if he couldn't hear their voices.
Although they were quiet whispers, he could hear every word said. And he loved hearing that he was thought to be odd. He thrived off of it.
But when a new girl comes and sits by him, not frightened by him, he slowly is brought deeper into a hole he is unfamiliar with. Will passion and desire overcome him?
