(Omegaverse)
In the year 2053, all "adult" activities such as gambling and prostitution are considered to be illegal in every country, except for Japan. This leads to Japan being the go to place for any and all adult entertainment, as well as the breeding ground for illegal activities. Now a home to the mafia, the yakuza, and the Triads, the crime rate in Japan has gone through the roof, leaving its streets too dangerous to live in.
Hana Kobayashi is the daughter of a second-rate private detective and a prostitute, trying to keep her family afloat as best she can. As a budding omega, job opportunities aren't really pouring through the door. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and in an attempt to make a little extra money Hana signs up for a government program designed to drastically lower Japan's rising crime rate. She will be tasked to house to incredibly dangerous (re. Alpha) criminals on death row, helping them find and kill the individuals her government deems too powerful or dangerous to live. By the time the year is out, Japan should be safe again and she will have been paid enough to keep her family living well for a lifetime. At least, that was the plan.
She really wasn't expecting the dangerous people she meets to develop an obsession with her.
