imagine a candle.

the candle is locked in a container of oxygen.

the flame twinkles on it's wick while absorbing the oxygen in the tank. it lives happily having no idea it's slowly destroying its only source of life. 

the wax melts. the closer to the flame it gets, the faster it melts. 

the oxygen tries to get away from the flame. it doesn't want to be all absorbed, destroyed. yet it can't bare the thought of being the reason the flame died. so every time the flame seems to fade, the oxygen gets worried and even though it knows this will lead to it's destruction, doesn't leave.

it can't.

in our case, the flame was a tall brunet known as kim taehyung

the oxygen was black a haired student named jeon jungkook.

their feelings were the tank.

and everybody around them was the wax.
