These galaxies are divided into two sides - The First Order and The Resistance. That is, unless you don't believe in either. 

     The First Order is a government that has arisen from the ashes, trying to take authority over the planets. The Resistance is doing everything they can to return peace over all. To Katherine Carey, it seems as if this will never change, and that the war will continue to rage indefinitely. 

     When the well-known, evil government them-self comes and destroys the only life Kat has known, she is taken to a place she never believed she would see. Here, surrounded by bitter people and creatures, she discovers that despite her inability to have the Force, she holds a dangerous power of her own. An unseen power that threatens the lives of everyone around her, including her own. 

     Fearful of her potential and intelligence, The First Order hides her in plain-sight, disguising her as a long-lost ally with superior strength and intellect. As she works her way up in the ranks, she learns more about her new-found abilities as she trains with Kylo Ren himself.

Really, like I can't believe just how much it turned out to be compared to what I had in mind at first.
