Imagine it. A school with no teachers. Sure, there are police outside to keep kids safe, but kids run the school. It's been this way in in what used to be called Summers Middle school for a few years now, and there are many people who question whether this was a good idea.

The first year, it was chaos. Kids got into fights, and one kid got his arm cut open. The public was about ready to boycott the experiment, but one kid stepped forward. Ace Makino. He told the public he could organize a system of government. They agreed. Relieved, and thankful for Ace's bravery, kids renamed Summers Middle school into Makino Junior High.

Every year, an seventh grader is elected to be leader by the eighth grade leader. It's been good so far, and the leaders have held. (We'll ignore the year where the leader was carted off to an insane asylum.) The leader calls the shots for the school.

This system is what Ace informed everyone was a 'Hierarchy'.
