Weimar: The City Where Our Love Began, de AilevAilev

Danyel Arriaga had a destiny. To be a football star. To shine on the field, win titles, make history. But life kicked him in the ass and sent him straight to Weimar, Germany. Now he's stuck in a city where everything is gray, the language sounds like people are fighting with their own tongues, and the sun seems to have given up on existing. And as if his life wasn't miserable enough, his university scholarship forces him to do something even worse than socializing: Coach a team of little kids. Annoying kids. Smelly kids. Kids who can't even run without tripping over themselves and, somehow, are the worst team in the entire junior league. He used to be fire. Now, he's ice. Cold, distant, dry-just as frozen as the German winter. He's not interested in making friends. He's not interested in socializing. And he's definitely not interested in teaching football to a bunch of brats who confuse a free kick with a penalty. And then, she shows up. Lena. Complicated. Intense. With eyes that seem to see right through him and hair that, for some reason, drives him insane. He met her on the plane to Germany. An embarrassing moment for her. Amusing for everyone else. Unforgettable for him. Because for the first time in a long time, his heart-the one he thought was dead-beat again. He never would have noticed her. He never would have paid attention to someone like her. He never would have imagined she'd be the only one capable of breaking through his ice. But destiny doesn't make mistakes. No matter how much he fights it, how much he denies it, how much he tries to convince himself otherwise... He was always meant to end up in Weimar. He was always meant to end up with her.

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...

[ Fiction story based and inspired by a YouTube comment under Paubaya Official Music video of Moira Dela Torre. Name and person mentioned is NOT REAL or related to the owner of the story to which this was inspired from. the excerpt is pulled from Youtube comment. All credits to her.] [The Story of us. We met in school. We were each other's greatest competitor. We were not fond of each other. But as the months passed by, we started to know each other, we had shared a couple of back stories as we worked on our group presentation. We became friends, then close friends, and then after a year, we became lovers. But just when I thought that everything was in their right place, my biggest downfall came. After our third anniversary, he started to become cold. He no longer joins me studying, he was even reasoning out that he's tired all the time and that he couldn't send me home. I said it was fine, I can manage. I thought it was just that, but it wasn't. I decided to confront him, I went to his condo and there, my greatest fear welcomed me without warning. He was with a woman, a pregnant woman. He was holding her like she's the most fragile thing on earth. They looked so happy. I didn't know how I managed to compose myself and walked towards them. As soon as our eyes met, he froze. I looked at the woman tensely and lifted my hand as I introduced myself as his classmate and she introduced herself as his girlfriend for a year, already. He said he loves her more. That every time we are together, his mind was with her. He said I make him hard, but she makes him weak. He said I make him feel special, but she makes him feel loved. He told me to punch him and berate him for he would rather end our relationship than leave her and their baby.] But the story, my story doesn't end there because I chose to move forward and be the strong woman that I am.

You had been attending the same school for over 15 years, obviously because you were born in the small town in North Carolina. You were living a pretty normal life, till all of the abductions started happening in 1977. But lets go back a bit. Lets go back to the year 1976. You had been on a night shift on November 18th, 1976. There were many more people than your previous shift. Really the only people there were dropouts, druggies, drug dealers, freaks, and alcoholics. All around the ages 14-22. Everybody was pretty chill with eachother, except for a few people, but that was just the minority. You had been zoned out while staring at the clock, then suddenly heard a DING! Some kid wanted to buy some cigarettes again. You looked at him and he said "Jesus kid, you in a mental insitute or something? Snap out of it." you ringed him up after he asked you for a pack of camels, and then looked at a familiar guy playing pinball. The same blonde that got over 100,000 his last time he came. Everybody started hyping him up, so he's trying to beat 100,000. You remember the mess you had to clean up after some kid accidently knocked over a bunch of beer. You like to not think about how it ruined your favorite pair of shoes. He messed up again, and kicked the machine. You yelled out to him "That thing costs money you know." then he looked at you. His face almost looked angelic. But he had been the jerk of your highschool, so he couldn't be that angelic. He looked away and picked at his pockets. He pulled out nothing. He started walking up to you and started asking for a dime. "Come on, I feed you guys this money all the damn time. Plus you will just get it back." "Then maybe don't waste all your money on pinball. We've gained around $200 with you coming here almost everyday. Thanks for that." and then you smiled while picking up your book. He looked at you in anger, then you looked back up at him. He looked like he was in a bad mood. "Here's a dime." you said handing him a dime.
