She goes to live with her real dad, but he abuses her, and she escapes. She lives with her long time friend Janelle, and her boyfriend Josh Dun.

Tia's life is about to take a drastic turn, when her friends learn of not only her depression, but her gifts, of singing and different arts she knows. Frank Dileo discovers Tia in a restaurant singing, and offers her an audition to be Michael Jackson's backup singer for his Bad, and Dangerous Tours. Tia has been a fan of Michael since she was 5, but she then discovers that he too, is just like her. He acts like a selfish, cold, and heartless person towards her.

Will they find out each other's secrets? Will they fall in love?
