Mère

Ariza was the great capitol of the world, a perfect city with well-educated people and agreeable politicians. The adults worked hard and accomplished much, the children studied and learned much.

One of the most praised parts of Ariza was the Mère, a programmed group of singing, acting, and dancing role models for the youth to look up to. They were the celebrities of the community, even if they weren't human. Unknown to programmers and scientists, though, the Mere were slowly gaining a mind of their own.

And that's were things got messy.
