The existence of Inhumans can no longer be denied. 
Ever since the Inhumans, a subsection of humanity with incredible and superhuman abilities,  were confirmed to be both real and living among the population, the world has been in a state of turmoil. Some claim that this "new breed" of human is an inevitable evolution of the species, while others abhor the concept and vow to eliminate what they claim is society's biggest threat. Lines were drawn, alliances were formed, and among the rabble of confusion in the city of Coronal Point rose five primary organizations working to enforce their agendas -- by any means necessary.
SENTINEL -- a division of the government that works to promote Human and Inhuman coexistence through both undercover and public operations.
CHIMERA -- an unaligned corporation hoping to utilize this conflict to gain political mobility and strength, operating incognito to hinder or entirely eliminate those who oppose them.
BEACON  -- a sanctuary for Inhumans that seeks to encourage the growth of the Inhuman population and eventually overtake the inferior non-powered humans.
ACOLYTE -- a collective of humans who believe that those born with powers are a danger to humanity's way of life and aim to destroy this new species at the root.
CITADEL -- enforcers of the law in Coronal Point, this association hopes to keep all sides of this dispute safe and under control while maintaining peace within the population of the city.

You are a new arrival in the city seeking your place amongst these contrasting ideologies. Are you a human being hoping for a normal life amongst this chaos? Are you an Inhuman searching for somewhere to live freely and without judgement? Are you an agent reassigned to this city to fight for your group's views?

"I'm guessing you're here to try and recruit me? Again?" I ask him patiently. I believe this is the fifth-time Nick Fury has come calling. Each and every time I have turned him down, but eventually he comes back and proposes the same thing. "No, I'm here to see if you'd like some girl scout cookies. The Samoa's are selling really well this year." Nick sasses while giving me his signature glare. I smirk. He's a sarcastic jerk, but he is funny. "Oh, well in that case..." I start and trail off, knowing it'll make him even more frustrated. He huffs and my smirk grows. "Why do you want me so bad?" I ask, honestly wanting to know. I watch Nick as he sighs deeply and clasps his hands in front of him. "Your skill set is equal to the best that we have. You would be an invaluable part of the team." He explains, but he knows that isn't what I mean. We stare at each other for a moment before he sighs again. "Your history only makes you more of an impressive subject." He continues and I groan. "The point is that you would help put an end to what happened to you, on a global scale." He says. "Think about it, Shifter." Nick drops a folder on the concrete and starts to walk back to the exit of the roof. I flip through the folder lazily, barely skimming the papers, but I know all of the names already. Once I've gone through most of it I stop and toss it in the dust behind me. Reading it was useless. I wasn't made to be any sort of hero. I DO NOT OWN THE AVENGERS. ONLY THE CHARACTERS AND THE SITUATIONS I CREATE.

A young girl, at the age of 6 tried to run from Hydra, tried to escape their grasp. Her silver eyes, shinning in the darkness, always giving her out. More Agents came Marching down the Hall, at a sprint toward them. The girl, being grabbed my one, and slung over the shoulder. As she was giving up hope, the man saved her, once again, and taking her to a place, that has people who all love her, and are all hero's. She still doesn't believe in hero's, she believes, that there is nice people in the world, who want to try and save it.
