Shay is a 15 year old girl living a normal life. She goes skateboarding a lot and one day when she was going to school on her skateboard she meets this boy named Dakota but he went by Wolf and after meeting him, her whole normal life turned into a whole unnatural life.
Shay's 16th birthday was the last day that she was normal. She started skipping school for weird stuff happening to her. Wolf started asking her what was wrong but she just told him that she was sick and she wished that was the truth... But she wasn't sick, she was becoming something the world fears the most... The same day she found out that she wasn't normal anymore, she had to move into a new home where a lot of people that had the same difference as her lived. On the second day that she lived in that house she was taken by darkness and it turns out the love of her life was the leader of the darkness that had taken her from her new home, and he was also different. After talking to him for a while trying to get to know him better she found out that they had once been next door neighbors for a while.
She thought since she now lived with people like her, she wouldn't be different from everyone, but she was wrong. She is different from everyone.
