Dawn has no friends in high school. However, he is not hated. It is more like he goes unnoticed. A ghost around the school. Well, maybe its a bit much to say he has no friends. He has an ALMOST friend named Maximilian, or Max for short. Dawn likes to call him Maxi, or that is what he would call him, had he spoke to him.

Max is the only one who pays any attention to Dawn. He walks home with him, partially because they are the only two that go in the same direction home, and partially because he feels bad for him.
