A Little Bit of Bad Luck
In this AU, Félix and Marinette's characters are based on the ones from the Miraculous anime PV that was never made (extra explanation of MCs in prologue). Additionally, there is a focus of side characters such as Gabriel, Nathalie, and Chloé (all these characters are based on the canon cartoon). This story takes place in the world of the cartoon but I have added some elements of the anime and my own spin on things. It's mostly plot and romance with occasional action. His head felt heavy in her hands. Marinette inhaled sharply, feeling the pain in her chest. This can't be real. Alya and Nino hadn't come out of the building yet, and Marinette feared the worst. Tears began to spill out, streaming down her face. "I need to take your memories, Marinette," Time Capsule said. A glass heart starts to form when one confesses their love, and is rejected. The only way to cure a glass heart is for the victim to move on. If the victim does not move on, they will suffer for eternity as their heart slowly turns to glass and prevents them from feeling love at all. The victim would be cold and alone forever. 🌸 Marinette suffers from Hanahaki Disease. Hanahaki Disease spreads by not confessing your true love. Victims will cough up petals while thorns choke their heart. The only cure is when the beloved returns their feelings, and if they don't return the love, the victim will die.
