June (11 years old) gets adopted by an uncle she never knew she had and learns the truth. Her depression comes from the suppressing of her power. Now she can go to school and work on that gift and finally be free.
But things aren't so easy. The Potions teacher looks weird and menacing, but no one but her and another student sees that. That student also hides something in his closet. She gets gifts each month by a man named Morpheus, a man whose name still brings terror.
