Danielle Simmonds, a 23 years-old business university student at NYU. Paying her way through college and her grandmothers hospital bills, she worked random jobs, one of which was a waitress for a very well-known and reputable catering company which caters for rich galas and functions. One night while working at a charity event she is saved by a strange handsome man after she is assaulted by one of the guests, unknowingly this night will change her life forever.
Nicholas Westbrooke, a 32 years-old CEO, businessman and billionaire extraordinaire, didn't think that attending one of these stuffy, boring and mind-numbing gala would lead to him seeing the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. When she is suddenly drenched with a drink by one of the guests, he knows that he has to help her, usually known as a cutthroat, no nonsense and workaholic businessman, he slowly starts to falls for her.
