Luthien LaRance has trained all his life to prepare for, stave off, and survive though the monstrosities of the Repentance. Even the multitudinous covenants of Wardens, vigilantes dedicated to the containment and eradication of any and all signs of the madness brought about by the Repentance's grasp, are turning against one another as many of their members start to fall victim to insanity. Wishing to end the terrors of the Repentance for good, Luthien must search for other sane Wardens to team up with and search for a cure to the afflictions of the world-bound curse, so that their world can know peace once more.
