[COMPLETED] Autumn Cross is now in 12th grade at her new school, Willington High, with only one goal in mind: passing the 12th grade and going to a good college. But her world changes when she meets Ryder Becker. Ryder Becker is one of the most popular boys in all of Willington High. I mean, all the boys want to be him and all the girls worship him. He could care less about grades because he knows that football is what's going to get him into a good college. But his carelessness in grades changes when he meets Autumn. Not only does Autumn get partnered up with Ryder for the biggest class project of the whole year, she also lives on the same street as him. In the beginning she thinks it's a total curse, but maybe it's a blessing in disguise... They both may pretend on the outside that they are fine, but truth be told, they are both broken. The way his smile doesn't match his sad eyes draws her towards him, and the scars and bruises on her skin draw him towards her. A cure for your sadness could be another person, right? Well put her broken pieces together with his, and you have cracked the code. Love could put their broken pieces back together. ----------------------------------- A sky full of stars and he was still staring at me. "Why are you staring like that?" I asked him. "You scare me, Autumn." Ryder admitted. "How come?" He looked down at the grass beneath us then back at me and gulped. "Because I want to tell you secrets I'm too scared to admit to myself." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 🤍I wrote this when I was around 13-14 (i'm 19 now) so some chapters may be cringy but I am too lazy to rewrite them, and still so many people enjoy this book and i'm truly grateful! "Okay, you know what? You're such a jackass and I never should have kissed you," I say. Colton stands up. His green eyes are just as angry as mine are. "Then why did you?" he asks. "I don't know!" I yell. "Why did you kiss me back?" "Hey, you kissed me," Colton says. "We already established that! God! It's like talking to a wall. Whatever I say just fucking bounces right off of you!" I yell. "Do you have any idea how maddening you are?" Colton looks at me. "You don't think you're infuriating?" Colton asks. I narrow my eyes. He starts to walk towards the door. I grab the M&M's and chuck them at Colton. He whips around, his eyes blazing green. "Where the fuck are you going? We're talking!" I yell, crossing my arms. He rubs the back of his neck where the M&M's hit him. "You wanna talk? Fine. Let's talk," Colton says. "You're obviously messed up from all of the shit your mom did." "Maybe I am! It's not your fucking business!" I pause. "Why do you even care? You're just some manwhore, right? A fuckboy?" Colton laughs dryly. "Is that what you think I am?" he asks. He takes a step closer to me. I'm two seconds away from kissing him again. Andy Reed-Collins has never fit in. With both of her parents being doctors, she's grown up in the hospital and has more friends there than she does at her high school. She's made it through most of her Senior year when she meets Colton Samson. Colton's bad for for her in every way. He's a nortorious manwhore who uses girls. But, when they become Biology partners, everything changes for Andy. As she spends more time with Colton, she can't deny their growing attraction to each other. The harder she tries to resist it, the more she's drawn to him. With his endlessly green eyes and knowing smirk, Colton sees through all of her walls. But just as Andy and Colton find each other, he turns out to be nowhere near perfect as he seems. Something's standing between her and Colton, and she's left with a choice. Will she choose him?
