Many centuries after the dreadful day Arthur Pendragon passed away, a young boy is adopted by a couple in modern England.
Merlin, old and wrinkled from years and years of life makes his annual trek back to the place that Arthur was buried -Avalon.
On the day destiny foretold, the reincarnation of King Arthur will finally be reunited with his friend and servant, Merlin, in this heart wrenching short story to finally give peace to the wonderful tale.

Hello! This is my Merlin fanfiction. Since I know I will never get over how Merlin ended, I made this in modern times to describe how Arthur comes back. I do not own any of these characters.
