When Saphire, a teenage 'lady of the night', is murdered in cold blood by a jack-the-ripper wanna- be her ghost, left to rot on earth, is angry. Her body goes unwanted, after running away at 13 she has no idea what happened to her small town family and the only friends she has are unwilling to speak at all to the authority's Saphire realizes how alone she truly was when she was alive, and how worse it is now that she's dead. Things don't get better when a soft hearted cop and his cold shoulder partner decide to take the case, Saphire thinks that she will never get the revenge her ghost needs to be able to pass on.
