A year or so after Bryony is turned into a goddess, she goes missing and Nico and Alexander take the quest to find her and return her to Olympus. 
While in their search, they go to an Asylum in which a girl resides, she is different from everyone, that's why she was there. Cursed from the beginning, feared by everyone who saw her face. Her name: Alexis King
