"Damn it, I have to sit next to pretty-boy Fields, this day just keeps getting better and better.
I quickly make my way towards the desk next to the cocky legend, sit down, and take out my pencil and binder wishing only to learn about chemistry and not have to exchange words.
"You smell like anger and regret"
I ignore him, but also can't help thinking about how right he is, I really was regretting the decision to take AP Chem. Grayson Fields is famous for his glowing smile that could get any girl into bed, his incredible talent for football, and his ability to smoothly talk his way through anything. He is considered a God among the student body because he has a gift. No, more than a gift, the supernatural ability to charm-speak, given to him from the holy Gods above, Allowing him to be able to talk his way through any situation whatsoever. His ability to smooth-talk teachers and adults is unnerving. I know this seems like such a weird thing to be awed by, but for a high schooler to have this pays off handsomely. I am 99% sure he uses it to get girls in bed with him as well.
....And now I have to sit next to this guy for the rest of the year....barf."

I say quietly, vulnerability seeping into my words. "How we even became friends." He sighs, "I want to know how." I scrunch my brow. "How what?" His response is soft, the opposite of his sarcastic personality. "How you don't see it." ******* Reagan Holt was about as average as a high school student could be. She didn't play any sports, didn't participate in the popular activities, and wasn't the girl all the boys chased after. All except one boy. He wrote her a letter every week. Each letter described something new for him to love about her. Whether it was how beautiful her laugh was or how his heart swelled with every smile she gave, he never failed to write how he felt. So the two should be together, right? That's the way Reagan wants it, but there's just one problem. He signs his letters "Love, Anonymous." Now add an obnoxious, conceited, sex god into the equation and you get a teenage girl confused on who really loves her. The sweet, tender written anonymous lover, or the cocky, ignorant asshole? -REVIEWS- "You create such wonderful characters and I can't wait to see what happens next!" "You should really tell him soon," Austin said as he walked closer to me. "It's complicated," I sighed, avoiding eye contact with the greek god standing before me. "Try me," Austin took another step towards me and once again I moved away from him. My back hit the wall, preventing me from moving any further. "It's just that I didn't want to upset him if it turned out that this wasn't going anywhere," "So now what?" He asked. "Violet I like you a lot, this isn't just some fling," he took a final step toward me and placed both hands on the wall besides my head so I was trapped. I gulped at his words. "Do you really mean it? Because if I'm going to tell him and risk our friendship I need to know that I'm not going to catch you making out with some cheerleader next week," Austin leaned his head forward and nuzzled into my neck. "I want to try and make this work," he said huskily before trailing kisses up my neck and along my jaw. "Okay, I'll tell him," *** Like most of the female population at her school, Violet is completely and utterly head over heels in love with the sex god that is Austin Hendrix. Unlike most of the female population at her school, Violet just so happens to be best friends with Austin's brother, essentially meaning that Austin is off limits, not that that matters since Austin wouldn't even breathe in Violet's direction right? Wrong. After having Violet literally fall for him at a concert, Austin can't seem to get the girl with the sarcastic tongue and muddy converse out of his mind. Throw in Violet's over controlling dad, a phyco ex booty call and the fact that Austin has a knack for charming girls out of their dresses and things may get a little ... complicated. ** As much as I wish I took the picture of the sex god on my cover picture I didn't so credit to whoever that lucky person is**

JULIET Starting junior year at Rosewood High, I expected to lose myself in textbooks, science experiments, and the comforting quiet of the library. What I didn't expect was to be paired with Alex Rhodes-the school's star quarterback and every girl's dream-in chemistry class. Alex is charming, confident, and completely out of my league. When he offers to study together, I'm wary. How could someone like him be interested in someone like me? But as we dive into chemical reactions, I discover there's more to Alex than his athletic prowess and easy smile. Beneath the surface, he's smart, curious, and utterly captivating. I should keep my distance, but every time his hand brushes against mine or he leans in close to explain a concept, I feel a thrill that I can't ignore. He's a magnetic force, and I'm helpless against the attraction brewing between us. ALEX Junior year means football, friends, and maintaining my reputation as Rosewood High's golden boy. What it doesn't mean is falling for a girl like Juliet Mayfield-quiet, brilliant, and completely different from anyone I've ever known. Assigned as her lab partner, I'm instantly intrigued. Juliet is everything I didn't know I wanted: passionate, insightful, and with a hidden fire that draws me in. Our chemistry goes beyond the classroom, sparking a connection I can't fucking ignore. Her shyness is endearing, her intelligence enthralling. The more time I spend with her, the more I crave her presence, her touch, her everything. But being with Juliet means challenging expectations, breaking the mold I've been cast in. And damn, I want her. I want her in ways that make my heart pound and my body ache. I want her laughter, her moans, her whispers of my name. I want all of her, and I don't give a damn about the consequences.

In which I fall in love with my brother's best friend. ***** "Don't pretend like you don't feel anything." His voice is low, sending shivers down my spine. "What do you mean?" "You know damn well what I mean." "I don't know what you're talking about." I pretend to ignore him, flipping some pages in my book. "Come on. I have all these assignments waiting. Aren't you supposed to teach me tonight?" "It depends on what you want me to teach." He smirks, his voice sounding even more dangerous. ***** I thought that my brother was the most popular guy in school, but as soon as I step into my university life, I realize how wrong I was. "Grayson, what are you doing?" I asked, slowly, walking into his house. He was sitting on a bar stool in the kitchen, facing the view of the city lights. Grayson was surrounded by open bottles of beers and alcohol. When he turned around, I did what most people wouldn't do, I looked directly into his eyes. His eyes were like a book, telling a story to ones who dared to look at them. Hurt, confusion, and sadness written all over his drooping, bloodshot eyes. He didn't answer me, making me step closer to him, "You okay?" I asked. "Yeah," he whispered with the rare smile I've seen only a few times through the time I've known him. Though this one is different. It was depressing. "No, you're not." He sighed. He didn't say anything back, but we both knew what he was going to say. He knew what he was feeling right now, even though he wasn't sober. He knew. "I wanna fix you." I whispered, shocking myself. His smile vanished, almost immediately. He looked away from me, his eyes back to the city lights, "Me too."He whispered. *•*•*•* Stereotypes shape today's society, especially with Grayson Watts. He's the schools bad boy, making girls go all over him, but I, Bailey Winters, or so I thought. I'm the girl that's usually too busy reading and doing homework than to go out and stalk guys. Somehow, Grayson and I cross paths and something about me made us become close enough to be called, 'friends.' With our new found friendship, I learned that bad boys, too, could be broken. I closed my eyes tightly until I heard laughing. No, I could feel the laughing. My eyes sprang open to find Miles on top of me. I was laying flat on my back in the dirt with my glove with the ball inside pressed against his chest. Miles was not at all fat, but he was 6'2 compared to my barely 5'3. I could feel his chest rumbling and shaking with laughter as I lay humiliated on the ground. "I didn't know you liked being on the bottom," Miles said loudly. The whole field cracked up with that. I struggled under him and shoved him off of me. All of the guys were howling with laughter as I got up and swiped all the dirt off me. "Pervert," I muttered, before tossing the ball out of my glove to hit him in the thigh. I stalked across the field without another word. The whole team was in hysterics as I shoved all my things in my bag and practically ran off to get away. ...
