The trees seemed to bend towards me. The farther I went, the darker the world seemed to get. The color also seemed to dim as I ran. But I didn't pay much attention to that. I finally came to a large clearing, near the center was an hourglass, it was made out of diamond. I walked up to it. It was so thick I could barley see inside, although I did see something inside. In the beginning, there was nothing. Just a vast void of nothing. All consuming darkness. And then there was cold. Ice. The ice spread from the core of the earth to everything until the world was formed. And then there was heat. For a while there was war between heat and ice. They fought for dominion over the world. Ice was the first and believed it was to be in charge. Heat supported more life and believed it should be allowed to rule. Eventually, when both almost destroyed the world Ice had created, they decided to merge and rule together, to release both their powers over the world and create life.
