You wake up to the beautiful sound of... your early alarm clock. It felt like just yesterday that winter break started. You sigh and get out of bed. You do a few stretches and get dressed. After a few minutes on your phone, your real alarm goes off. You walk downstairs to the kitchen. You're greeted by your mom making breakfast. You grab a pancake and stand next to her.
"Why you up so early?" You asked her.
"I remembered that it's your first day back to school after the break so I wanted to make you a real breakfast!" She said. You smiled and gave her a kiss on the cheek. You look at your phone. Time to go. You kiss your mom goodbye and grab another pancake for the walk to school. As your walking, you hear someone behind you. You see him... The guy of your dreams... Sage Valentine! Hair as black as night, beautiful blue eyes that sparkle like shining stars! You try to keep cool and look back as little as possible. He's flawless! He's a gamer too! This story is y/n (you) falls in love with a football player (an oc of mine). More info: Y/N is a 16 going on 17 year old female, in her Junior year of high school. It's her first day at a new school, a random person Airdropped her something and they begin to chat. This mystery guy is 17 and also his Junior year and is a football player. She knows nothing about him so she's determined to learn more. What she finds out shocks her completely. Preview: "Y/n! Come on let's go!" "Yeah! You are going to make us late!" "God! I'm coming I'm coming! I just needed to grab something." I said walking out to them. "Is that a book?" "Yeah- I really need to know what happens! The three of us sat, we already bought some drinks and snacks. The game soon started and I began to read. "Player down!" Someone yelled as they ran a crossed the field. My head snapped up to get a look and I saw number 22 sitting up with one leg bent and the other laying on the ground. He seamed calm. "Alright, let's get you up," some one said kneeing next to number 22. "No no, I'm fine. Help them, they may be out, he is not responding to me." 22 insisted. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. I thought it was cute.

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story.
